Philip Sim

Philip has been a property lawyer for over 30 years, mainly as a partner in middle sized law firms and now as principal of Sim Legal Limited. He has wide experience of advising on commercial property, property-based businesses and the renewable energy sector. His expertise in property includes development, investment and landlord and tenant matters, acting for developers, investors and occupiers. He has expertise in healthcare, roadside development, out of town retail property and residential development. 

Originally from Oban, Philip studied at Edinburgh University and worked for several years at large law firms in Glasgow before transferring to Edinburgh. Philip is a solicitor and was a member of the Management Committee of a housing association for several years.
